I took photos of the Mace family a few months back now but what a lovely day we had. The shoot was held at Alfrick nature reserve which has a lovely trail to follow around the reserve, children love it! Beth also brought along her best friend Sophie the dog, they made a great team during the photoshoot striking poses together :)
I recently had the pleasure of meeting up with John & Hannah for their engagement shoot. They were a bit stuck for ideas so I suggested a country style shoot in the sleepy village of Colwall. I know Colwall quite well because I use to work there for a while and love cycling along the quiet back lanes so had some good ideas of where exactly I wanted the shoot to take place.
They also both told me an interesting story of how they first met. They were both young and met in the medical room at high school, I don't know what their symptoms were. Hannah told me that John was chatting & comforting her while they briefly met which Hannah thought was really sweet of him. Then John told me that he had looked after her because he thought Hannah would look "fit" when she's older :-D .They then met again later in life where Hannah spotted John and asked if he remembered her from high school. Quite a nice story to tell :)
John and Hannah were a great fun on the shoot and I can't wait to shoot their wedding in December.
The blossom was out, the rapeseed fields were turning a bright yellow & we had some beautiful weather on our side. Perfect time for a portrait shoot and Ali was kind enough let me take a few portrait shots of her around Malvern :) I took a mix of digital and film on the day.
Digital Images (d800):
Mamiya 645 / 150mm 3.5 / Kodak Portra 160 film (1 stop Push):
Finally Ali's shot of me on film :p
Recently I had the pleasure of meeting the Gardiner family for a lifestyle shoot at Alfrick nature reserve. The weather was on our side for the shoot and the boys had a really good time exploring the reserve. I always feel that its best to be outdoors for photos with children rather than in a studio, your 100% much more likely to capture the natural smiles that way :)

I have uploaded a few photos from the shoot below :)
A quick post to share with everyone a few photos from Sue & Karne's wedding at St. Andrews Church, Malvern which I shot late January. What started out as a very cloudy & windy start when arriving at the church soon turned into a lovely clear bright sunset when leaving the church. Which was perfect light for a few group shots with the sun just about to hide behind the Malvern Hills. This was then followed with a few photos at the Rose Gardens next to the 99 Steps.
So a big congrats to Sue & Karne and I hope them all the best for the future :)
Heres another Autumn Lifestyle shoot from last week with Laura,Sean & little Cora.
The shoot took place at the Old Hills Malvern where the autumn colours were still nice & vibrant :)
Thought it was about time I wrote a new post for my blog and wanted to share with you some photos from a small wedding I shot last month. The Wedding ceremony was held at Malvern registry office where Mr & Mrs Munday then proceeded to Malvern winter gardens where we took a few photos. This was probably the smallest wedding I have ever shot as only 10 people attended including the bride and groom. There was a great atmosphere and Mr & Mrs Munday were great throughout the day and I would never have hesitation shooting another small wedding.
I have put some pictures from the day below. Please feel free to comment/critique the photos. Please also if possible support my Facebook page by hitting the LIKE button :)
Some shots here from a location lifestyle shoot I did at Alfrick nature reserve about a week ago.
I always try shoot family's away from a studio and on a location because it adds such a nice natural light. Most of the Images were shot with my 105mm macro 2.8 and sigma 35mm 1.4 which are both sooo sharp.
Hope you like a few of the images I have uploaded please feel free to comment/critique and please support me by liking the Facebook page :)
